AI for Technical Communicators

The course aims to equip Technical Communicators with the mindset, skills and tools to work with AI in their field. The curriculum covers strategic expectations, evolving roles, AI-driven content strategy, accountability, ethics, prompt engineering, and the use of AI in content operations.

Course Essentials

Mode: Hybrid (Offline classroom sessions and online sessions)

Duration: 3 full days in the classroom + 5 weekends with 2 hours each on Saturday and Sunday + Homework assignments

Certification: Based on attendance, assignments, and performance in the final test

Schedule: 27 Sept 2025 to 30 Nov 2025

Fees: Rs. 29500 per person (Early bird and groups of 4 or more: Rs. 28000 per person, valid until 31st August 2025)

Training: No specific training prerequisites

Work experience: Minimum of 2 years of Technical Communication experience

Hardware and software

  • Access to a laptop that can run the meeting software and can access LLMs like ChatGPT

How you are evaluated

  • Attendance and participation
  • Completion of original homework assignments
  • An online final test

You will receive a Certificate of Completion from STC India based on the following criteria

  • At least 80% participatory attendance
  • At least 70% score on the test
  • At least 75% homework assignments completed
